We ship within Canada only.

 

Mud Sweat and Gears offers competitive, discounted flat-rate shipping.

 

If a product is excluded from a shipping promotion, the following standard rates apply by product category:

*Free Shipping Exclusions: Oversized or overweight items, as well as certain sale items, may not qualify for free shipping. Applicable prices are listed above.

*Additional Fees: Large item handling fees and insurance charges may apply.

*Carrier Surcharges: Mud Sweat and Gears & Vicious Cycle and Snow are not responsible for any additional “beyond charges” applied by carriers.

*Vendor Shipped Products: Items shipped directly from the vendor may not be eligible for free shipping promotions.

Receiving a Shipment

DO NOT SIGN UNTIL YOU HAVE INSPECTED THE SHIPMENT FOR DAMAGE.

Visible Damage

  • As the consignee, it is your responsibility to note any visible damage on all copies of the proof of delivery or on the driver’s handheld device (where applicable).

  • Request an ASF (Additional Services Form) from the driver to record the noted damage.

  • Once you sign as “received” or “delivered,” you are acknowledging that the product was accepted in good condition.

  • Please perform your inspection promptly and thoroughly to avoid delaying the driver.

Concealed Damage
If damage is discovered after delivery:

  1. Retain all packaging materials.

  2. Notify the shipper immediately and file a claim with the carrier.

  3. Do not remove the product from the delivery premises until inspected.

  4. Keep a copy of the inspection report.

  5. Contact the Mud Sweat and Gears Online Fulfillment Team for next steps.

Please note that Mud Sweat and Gears is not liable or responsible for any labor charges, diagnostic fees, or materials incurred by other shops or service providers. 

Shipping Insurance (Peace of Mind)

If additional insurance was purchased with your order, Mud Sweat and Gears / Vicious Cycle and Snow can assist in submitting a claim on your behalf or follow the instructions provided in your email.

 

To do so, the following must also be provided:

  • Customer-submitted claim with the carrier/shipping company.

  • Photographs of the package and the damage.

  • Complete order information.

  • Proof of delivery and proof of identity.

Product & Bike Exclusions

  • Mud Sweat and Gears & Vicious Cycle and Snow ships a wide range of products across Canada.

  • Due to dealer agreements and regional restrictions, certain current model year products from specific brands cannot be shipped outside of the Greater Edmonton and Red Deer areas.

  • Skis: Ski bindings can only be mounted in person with the customers ski boot in hand. A ski binding din chart and legal document needs to be signed by the rider (18 years or older, or parent/guardian). We cannot pre-mount ski bindings without the customer being present with the above.

  • Prohibited Brands: None at this time.
